At Aero Medical Center (AeMC) we perform medical examinations for commercial pilots, flight engineers, air traffic controllers, private pilots, stewards/stewardesses, glider pilots and others that need a medical certificate to be allowed to conduct flights, all in accordance with the regulations of the European Aviation Safety Agency - EASA (1178/2011)
One of our AME ‘s (Aviation Medical Examiner) performs medical examinations for those that have a license with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). A special appointment needs to be made for this type of checkup.

All those that are starting out in their studies as commercial pilots in the Reykjavík area need to get a 1. Class medical certificate issued in their name after an examination with an AME at Aero Medical Center (AeMC) Álftamýri 1 1h, 108 Reykjavík.
